No bike, not one, of the MANY I have currently, or over the last 45 years, has come anywhere close to being the Juggernaut for my riding attention\pleasure, that this bike is. No bike.
::026:: (except I've only been riding about 40 years).

Well said, Snake.

Every so often I do find myself just staring at the bike, not wanting to turn around and walk back to the house. I'll pat the tank a few times and eventually go back to the real world. No bike has ever been so in-sync with my riding style and attitude as the Tenere. It is the perfect bike for me.

Today my neighbor comes over wile I was rubbing and brushing some ACF50 on my bike, he tells me "looks kike you're massaging your bike":)

A friend of mine changes bikes every 3 months or so (it's a disease). I usually go with him whenever he test drives new bikes, The Selman always gives me a bike and he knows I'm not buying anything or he hopes that I do. One day I test drove an Explorer 1200, Multistrada and KTM 990, all at one dealer while he was trying sport bikes, Panigale, etc. etc. We would swap bikes in the back roads for a few minutes. It was fun day, but It didn't bother me a thing, I rode my S10 home very happy. My friend bought the Panigali, now 3 or 4 months later he's thinking of getting the Multistrada.

::008:: Ditto.

Glad it cam along. Hope they have a sweet little 900 for when I'm too frail to handle a 1200.

I am also guilty of being a serial motorcycle owner, but my S10 seems like a candidate for a very meaningful long-term relationship! ::015::

I've kept bikes for longer than 2 years. In fact, I keep them even if I'm not riding them. But I have never ridden any bike as much as I ride the Tenere. I no longer split my miles across several bikes. And I don't see a threat to anything changing that.

Very unlike me.
