Leavings Brookings, OR in the morning. Heading to Astoria.

Drying out in Albany, OR. Chill and wet day, and me not at my best. Plan to head to towards Mt St. Helen and Ranier back tomorrow. Forecast is for mixed snow and ice though ::025:: Supposed to be up to 50 int he afternoon without any accumulation... I guess we'll get through.

I'm starting Vacation tomorrow with Oregon on my list. I too have been watching NOAA closely. Lassen is out for tomorrow's start. You two be very careful.

Ugggg.... Everett, WA. Didn't see that coming. Planned to go like THIS over the next two days, and camp tonight in the Cascades. Unfortunately that route has not yet opened for the summer.

Good news, we did run in to Mt. St. Helen via Spirit Lake, and it didn't rain this morning. We actually saw dry pavement. Yeah, really. Honest.

Parked in Kamloops after a short ride from Oroville today. Need to dry out after camping in the rain. Ran into Rod in Vernon and had a nice chat.

We are all converging into a critical mass at White Horse! I have this feeling I'm a lemming. Everyone helping us along, visitor centers, construction crews, gas stations! Help, my tires are wearing out, how do I get off this train? Okay, I'm tired, goodnight.

North to Susanville, then Lassen NP.

Out to the coast and Brookings, OR

Rode out to see Mt. St. Helen.

East again over Washington Pass

And a few coffee stops

Kamloops to Vanderhoof yesterday. Decent weather. Found Rod, Al and Ryan at Daves Campground and said hi. Grabbed a room in town. They got rained on. Today we rode with them and Jim (who was at another hotel in Vanderwoof) to the turn to Stewart/Hyder. We made a stop, and they went on to Istuk. Rain. Rain all day. Then more rain. After that, it rained. 50 - 60 F.

Got a room in Stewart and about to head out and check out the towns.

Oh, and there were amazing wildflowers, green fields, raging rivers, and bear personages (no grizzlies, just black).... lost count of them.
