Good luck on the weather and bugs and don't forget today is Canada Day! It's been a very wet June, so I hope July dries out. We've been up here for a few weeks now and are heading South at this point. In Watson Lake, YT now, on to Ft Nelson, BC today. Heading for Jasper and the Ice fields Parkway on the return leg to the states. It's been beautiful, but about every other day is a rain day. Just missed getting stuck or washed out in Denali by a day.

It was an uneventful day. Finished the day just east of Ludington, MI at Crystal Lake Campground. Rode from Southern IN up US31 and enjoying the sights. Finished the day with 429 miles. Will continue up US31 tomorrow and then cross the Mackinaw bridge. Then I will pickup US2 and head west.

Will continue up US31 tomorrow and then cross the Mackinaw bridge.

They're doing construction on the Mac, painting I think. Crossed it both ways last week. They've got the paved sides shut down both ways for awhile. Got to ride the metal. I was going to look down but thought I'd better concentrate on keeping it on 2 wheels. ::025::

WTF? They were doing that LAST year in July. At least it was a sunny day w/o wind when I crossed both times last July.

Another uneventful day again.....other than rain and fog. It just so happens that both lanes were open, so rode both lanes. Will keep heading west tomorrow on US2.

Very cool trip. But not sure you could have travelled that far. Bike is way to clean, rider looks way too fresh, and tires look fresh too. Are you pulling my leg?
