When i had my multistrada i had one of these and i used it for a small bit with the tenere before i got hurt. Its super cheap and it works great. I used it for a 4000 mile trip and it works well enough to take your right hand off. I did 10+ mile sections with no right hand on the throttle. Any significant up hill and down hill works against it as its. A friction lock system like all the others. Its just way cheaper and works just as good. Plus it works on multiple bikes if you are lucky enough to have more than 1.

I just thought i would throw this out there for all of you to see. I love mine and highly recommend them to anyone.

Yes, easy to put on, yes, easy to use. The only downside and why I don't use it anymore; big hands and it takes up more room on the grip than I like.

You must have massive hands!

Thanks for the timely post Boostedxt and feedback everyone else. I am on the Yamaha S10 for only a week and am looking for a simple cruise control option to allow for occassional right hand rest/stretch. I had a vista cruise on my Honda ST1300 and liked it. My friend was describing the cruise solution you posted and it looks perfect for my needs. The fact that it is easily removable is a plus. I'll be ordering one tomorrow.
