Don't we have Bosch MSC on our Tenere?

ABS + TC + Tip sensor + linked brakes = MSC.

Mine doesn't have a Bosch. but it is German. :(

But it does have ABS + TC + Tip sensor + Linked brakes = MSC.

The only difference is that people will gobble this stuff up with KTM and BMW but will think it's marketing hype from YAMAHA.

I thought the tip-sensor was there solely to turn the engine off when I have fallen over...!?

Yeah, we probably used the wrong term. The tip sensor used to be just a simple gold plated ball on three prongs that open circuited things, BUT these days I bet it is a X,Y,Z G sensor just like in your smart phone.
The ECU determines whether you have had an epic fail and shuts things off based on a very stable reading on one direction of about 1G.

Generally if they are using for yaw and acceleration etc to vary brake bias and traction control etc they just use a bit more code and have a smart tip over sensor. Cuts fuel pump, injectors and spark from memory.
