He's a real interesting bloke I saw him after his RTW trip on a Triumph Daytona 900, his stories of trying to become a Tour de France rider and riding a racing bike to the source of the Nile only to realise that he had to ride back was highly amusing.

So as not to confuse, his name is Nick SANDERS.

Good value talks, always looks like he puts his face in a sandblaster each morning.

For those guys across the pond, who may not be familiar with Nick's exploits, just Google his name & have a look around YouTube. He has certainly tested the S10 to the limits.

Cheers ......................... KEN

He's gone around the world on an R1, a Triumph Daytona and the S10 on which I believe he has done a top to bottom of the Americas. Takes no gear except undies and a credit card.

Yeh clearing up his identity a bit further, think he's married to Jennifer Sanders, the other half of the comedy duo 'with the big girl' French and Sanders... O:)

saw him early last year at the local Yam dealer, very interesting bloke, bought his first 2 auto biog's - before he got to motor bikes he did cycling at a high level then canal boating through Europe and a bit of hot air balloon trips too, he's very up front too about his family life and relationships (good and bad), the fact he used an R1 for his early trips amazed me, not the most comfy of machines for the long haul IMO!

I recently found this document buried in with some old bike magazines and as this post mentioned the man I thought that any newer members maybe haven't seen this 2011 report on the bikes component parts condition post 51,000 mile ride in four months of Nick Sander's S10 that he rode from the bottom of the Americas to the top and then back down again so here it is;-
