Newby waiting for delivery in Kentucky

Hello, I am new to idea of adventure riding and new to the forum. I have a Raven S10 on order, should be in this month and I can't wait. I have been riding for 37 years on Harley's and currently BMWs but never off road so this going to be a BIG adventure for me. I have been reading several of the forum articles and I am sure I will have many questions as I learn about this new bike and the new skills I will have to develop.

There's a ride being planned for March 24/25 from Paoli, IN down to Mammoth Cave. Mostly or all paved. Think there going to be 3 S10's going along. Here's a off site link. Hope I'm not breaking any rules....

Was at the dealer today and found out that Yamaha is about a month behind on the delivery of the black S10. That sucks, may end up with another blue bike after all. Thanks for the welcome everyone! I am looking forward to the adventure!

Welcome, Ramlin. You live near one of my favorite places in the world. Both sets of my grandparents lived in Casey County. I go back there twice a year to visit other relatives. I have ridden all over that area, too. You are lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the U.S.
