Hi all, A quick intro to say hello and thanks for letting me join!
I've had my brand new S10 now for about two months and love it!
Came from a GS and its so refreshing to ride the big Yam. Does everything I want it to do!
About to start sorting a few bits on it now and add some farkles so any advice on the following would be great:
1. There seems to be a lot of freeplay in all 3 axis of the throttle, is this fixable?
2. Having now fitted my sat nav to the accessory bar, I realise how much it vibrates about as its not really connected to much. Any tips o sorting this?

::004:: from Zurich. Nice colours, looks a Fowlers special? Look up accessory bar vibration and should bring up Bryn, who is member here, he made some supports that work well and is based in Leicester??

::004:: from Bedfordshire. The S10 will prove a good decision, but what tempted you away from the GS?

1 - Twist grip 3-D slack - not heard of this as an issue before, so suggest you get the dealer involved. (I see Fowlers are celebrating 90 years in the business incidentally). I don't think it is something they need to assemble/fit during PDI. Has the bike ever been dropped or manhandled in some way that could have damaged the thing - if not then I would press for a straight replacement under warranty.

2 - As Dogdaze says, Bryn is your man for the accessory bar issue - move quickly as I think he is talking of closing down production.

By the way how many Teneres will have this special paint scheme?

The paint scheme is a Fowlers special!
Apparently (??) there are only 5 in existence in this colour (French Yamaha racing colours), painted by a company called 8ball on behalf of Fowlers (mine was the last one)

Welcome budd! Lovely paint scheme, I'm sure Tracey Wheeler from 2wheelTrans has one in those colours. Hi and welcome to the forum, great colours.

Perhaps the throttle components have been moved or affected by the removal of tank and panels for the paint job?
