New to Yamahas (almost)

Hi all from California (SF Bay area),

Just joined the forum. Just purchased a 2012 Super T. and, of course, now it's raining. Bummer. Anyway, this is the first Yamaha I've owned since my dad bought a Yamaha 80 for me to ride when I was a kid. I've owned quite a few bikes and am looking forward to being in the saddle again. I'm retiring before next summer so I have a few months to set the bike up for a long trip. My brother lives in Texas, I've got relatives in North Carolina and Ohio so... yee haw.

Welcome to the forum. I really liked my 2012. Traded it with lots of miles on the clock just to get a 2013 in White. Big mistake...should have kept the 12. The white was very unlucky. Moved onto a 2016 ES now. Like it a lot as well. Runs similar to the 2012 but a bit more refined.
