I'm a 6' 350lbs guy, glad I found the Super Tenere. Big heavy powerful bike - I'd have been perfectly happy with a v-strom 650 engine wise - but this one just fit. So that was that, had to have one. Picked up a used 2014 with 5k miles, crash bars, skid plate, pannier racks and additional lights. Have 50/50 street/offroad tires on it, going to find out how I like those.
Plan is for mostly street riding, although I won't mind picking up basic offroad skills for forest road and the like. Maybe do the WA BDR next year.
On order are mirror extenders, reflective license plate holder, and some high viz tape.
I have touratech racks but no bags, gotta read up on what can be had for a reasonable cost. Also want more rear lights.
