Hey -

Mark B. here entering the world of ADV after a long line of sport tourers: CBR1000F, VFR800, K1200RS & GT, ZZR1200, etc. I borrowed a friend's '15 Super T and that was it! The bike infected me like a virus. Found a '16 that was well-accessorized and taken care of. So far I'm really enjoying the leg room, sweet sound of the twin (through a Yoshi exhaust), and agility of the bike.

Looking forward to gleaning some ADV wisdom from you all on this site.....

Happy Sunday to you all!
Mark

Here's a welcome from Lodi. Be careful, this virus can get expensive. Dodads and fuel, it never ends. ::26::

couldn't agree more - I'm already broke and just got mine a week ago (the bookmark page is quite long now).

nice to see you ran with a VFR - still holding onto mine for my cous who's over seas - nothing like the sound and feel of a V-4. Although, I'd still take a 919 over the viffer, but both are fantastic bikes for what they're made for.

Again - welcome!

::026:: on the VFR. I had a ‘95 VFR 750 years ago that I loved. Great bike.

For me it was going to be this bike or the FJR1300. Glad I went with this. But still wonder about an FJR.....

Welcome aboard. As with anything, the more you participate, the more you get out of the place.

Not as comfortable, but the engine will make you giggle and swear that light is starting to bend. >:D

and then there’s the GS, the Triumph Explorer, the Honda VFR1200X, and the Dodge Challenger I wonder about, too.

If i had enough money i wouldnt have the time for all of the toys i would want to buy.
