Very excited to be riding this new bike as my daily commuter and long haul trips on the Interstate and gravel roads. Taking the long term view on this bike and plan to own it for 20 years (20 x 10K miles /yr = 200,000K!)
My previous bike served me well, a 2002 Triumph Tiger I owned for 10 years, and sold at 65K while running almost like new.
As I tell my friends this is my "dream bike," so maxing out the farkles getting exactly what I want.
This thing is a pack mule! Have traveled two-up with camping gear and it still handles great.
Very grateful for this forum, as I have benefited greatly from the "how-to" explanations like changing tires.
My girlfriend calls it the "HoneyBee" due to the color. Guess I can live with that.
BTW, Boise is an amazing launchpad for ADV trips! The Magruder Corridor is just one of many examples. Get in touch with me if you are in the area, and perhaps we can go for a ride!

All the best, Jeff Ward

P.S. Only crisp Perrier for this France inspired desert racer!

::004:: from metro Seattle! Great riding around your part of the country.

A couple weeks ago a buddy and I did a nice 1700 mile loop to OR, ID and MT. Good times for sure!
