Welcome aboard! The Alt Rider lower bars are so expensive nowadays. Have them on mine and in my opinion they're overrated as they easily bend on just a tip over at 0mph. I'd suggest you take a look at the bars from Heed, I looked it up a bit and they seem solid with good reports, if not a tad heavy.

Welcome, from Texas. T-Rex may be your only viable option at this point. Seems well made, and there's some members on here that use them.

I one to think that it depends on what your plans are for the bike. The vast majority of S10 owners are more concern about protecting the vitals from a basic tip over. The Givi is a really nice option and not hard on the pocket book, plus not adding unnecessary weight she heavy enough.
If of course your plans are more serious then you will need to do your research, unfortunately any armor for the S10 is getting much harder to find as the after market is slowly but surely moving on to newer models.
My S10 is setup with ACD skid combined with Outback Motortek crash bars, pretty heavy armor for just street riding but off road mishaps it does the job very well. I have tested it numerous times, unfortunately.

Welcome from Canada

Welcome aboard.
I agree with both Sierra and Lund. First, know what you plan to do with it. Just street touring and Givi is fine. You might add Yamaha lowers to them for more complete coverage.
If, on the other hand, you plan to ride dirt then T-Rex is the way to go. Complete coverage with the benefit of a robust skid plate.
