Hello all ~ another newbie.
After years on Ducatis now gone back to Japanese efficiency ~ Picked up the bike yesterday [10,000 miler] and couldn't be happier. Spent a few hours installing the Zumo above the clocks ::001::
Now I have to do a search on how to clean the matt paintwork

Hi,

Just noticed your location. I am off on Tuesday to pick mine up from the North and plan to stay in North Wales on the way down travelling back through mid Wales and my old stomping grounds of South Wales on my circuitous route back to Dover where I call home now.

Is yours the E version?

Why the brand and lifestyle changes to the ST?

Just curious...I am changing from 4 years on a VFR1200 which I loved after test riding everything else and only had a ride on the ST by chance...

Congrats and welcome aboard. If you search from the FORUM tab in the upper left there ought to be 8 threads popping up for the search terms:
clean matt gray

Welcome from Swansea Diver, I've got a matt grey one, clean with normal shampoo, just don't polish it. Drop Bryn a message on here, he has brackets that will stop the sat nav mount from vibrating

Hi Hobdayd ~ was time for a change - had a 748 for 7 years, fantastic to ride when the conditions were right , bloody uncomfortable though, especially as I'm no longer a spring chicken. So I bought an air cooled multistrada for commuting, then found I was hardly using the 748, 3 years later both have gone and into S10 ownership. Didn't want "frantic" anymore. ::001::
Mine is a 2013 model on a 14 plate, so 1st gen.

Thanks for the welcome ~ looks like the matt paint will mean less time polishing ::008::

Cheers Juan, lovely part of the world you are in, great diving too, did a dive trip a few years ago. Reckon the S10 is perfect for Malta.
