New s10 rider in Ohio

Hi everyone. I have about 1K miles on my new S10 and could not be happier. i tested her out the other night by turning of the TCS and doing a rolling 1st gear throttle mash. Wooie, I also flipped it over, this thing rocks. I'm coming off many happy miles on a wee strom and BMW before that. I have traveled 2 up with all the camp gear across most of US and Canada. I switched to the S10 for a bit more juice and stopping power over the Wee. I'm also an old dirtbike guy still doing an occasional enduro and many dual sports on my yammy 250f.

Can't wait to take my first major trip this summer to Oregon via wy, montana, canada, and washington.

BTW, if you are planning a summer trip to include parts of Canada, you should plan to attend the big gig in Whitehorse in late June/early July!!

I have a friend that lives in Salem i plan to visit. He has promised me a trip to the shoreline to do some dirt riding in the dunes and nearby forests. I will be on board his KTM 520 chasing his Razor and son on a 150f.

What spots should i make sure i don't pass up along the way on the S10

Also, can someone tell me what a Raven is?

Welcome on, Ishirock from Ohio. If you're heading to Canada this summer, take in the Super Tenere Rally in Whitehorse. Raven refers to the colour of the bike. There are Crappy Old Blue, and Magnificent Raven .... you may have surmised the colour of MY bike. OK I'm messing with you. I think it's Impact Blue and Raven .. the two colours for U.
