::004:: from Colorado. I'm sure there are some folks in your neck of the woods to ride dirt with. Just bear in mind... the S-10 is no 300-pound dirtbike. Be careful out there!

Welcome Boehjj15. I'm in Encino myself, where are you located? I've been practicing on the fire roads in the Rowher Flats OHV. I am a total newb to the dirt, but the big beast seems to handle those rutted dirt ways fine. I''d be happy for some company. Let me know when you're up for a ride.

Also, burnoil is planning a ride in Cactus Flats on May 16th. You should definitely join, I recommend some more off-road oriented tires, crash and skid protection though.

gonzo76 - my parents live in Moorpark so I'm near Ventura a lot. Any good dirt riding out there?

I'm out in San Bernardino, but I might be up for some adventuring this weekend if you're free. Maybe Saturday?

I have the AltRider Crash bars and skid plate. Im probably going to just run the stock battlewings until they wear out before I swap them out for something like the K60s

I'd love to join in on the cactus flats ride, but I think my work schedule is going to be the deciding factor on that one.

I'm not expecting it to act like a dirt bike, but I'm sure it will do a lot better on fire roads than my Vulcan Mean Streak. ::025::
Boy, do you have a nice surprise coming. Snakebitten (a member) has us calling this TBDBITW for The Biggest Dirt Bike In The World. This was EEMSReno at Romney WV over the weekend:

Somebody did a lot of chainsaw work to clear that 'trail'. ::26::

I would be up for this Saturday but I'm worried about the rain on Thursday and Friday and what the trails are going to look like on Saturday.
