I brought home my first Super Tenere today. I have missed having a big ADV since I sold my GS two years ago. So I have been on the casual hunt for a well farkled S10 for a while. I picked up a 2014 ES with 54k miles for what I believe to be a great deal ($5k). It's well maintained and has the entire Altrider catalog, Jessie Bags, Seat Concept seats, and the panniers were packed with spares! Im planning on using it for day rides in the Rockies and multi-day adventures all over the west.

My 690 will continue to be my dedicated BDR slayer.

Welcome, from Texas. And I'd say that you found a great deal. You might find that this might be first and only Tenere. No reason to trade it in like a Beemer.

Wow, this is an active forum! I didn't realize this was part of the benefits of owning a Super Tenere.

OK, noob question, what is the preferred short hand for the Super Tenere? S10? ST? Super T?

I’d say whichever one you get sick of writing least
