Hi everyone from the suburbs of Ottawa (Orléans), Ontario, Canada.

I picked up a mint 2017 Super Ténéré ES locally about a week ago from a very nice guy who took great care of this bike. He sold it as an old work injury made it difficult for him to ride. I honestly felt for him as I could see how much pride he had in this bike.

It's got a few goodies too including a touring windshield with an add-on variable windscreen blade, a dash, fog lights, a coax warm-n-safe plug, SW Motech crash bars and skid plate.

My first bike was a 2011 KLR650 which was great but after a years, I started getting the itch for a bit more bike. After taking the S10 for a test ride, I just fell on love.

I've already picked up some good tips on this forum including advice on adjusting the height of the handlebars. My first mod will be installing the 2" Rox risers. I hope to contribute in the coming weeks and months.
Cheers!
Pierre L. aka "PGL"

::004:: Ahhhh, there's that beautiful blue. (I have/had the same bike(s)) At certain times I think the Tenere actually feel s lighter than my ol' KLR; but it's not really fair to compare the two. ::001::

Thanks for the welcome Nikolajsen.

And yes, Sierra1, I was expecting the S10 to feel so much heavier than the KLR but it's got such a low centre of gravity that I don't notice the weight ... really good design! And I agree that the 2 bikes are quite different but they are a very different price point, of course. I really enjoyed the KLR. No complaints. But glad to have the S10 now.
