Hello from Michigan! Randy here, I live in the Flint area and just brought home a new 2015 Super Tenere ES yesterday.

Any other members near me?

I'm also a member of Kawasaki Concours Owners Group (COG) and go on many rides with them, and also the Great Lakes Dual Sporters group - hoping to get some rides in with them as well. Although they have a nasty habit of picking trails with lots of deep sand.

Thanks everyone - glad to be here!

I got about 60 miles on the bike in 40 degree weather.. and now it's snowmageddon around here! Snow forecast all next week too! All I want to do is get out and ride!

Marquette. If you're headed this way, let me know, nice combination of back roads and forest roads here in the U.P.
Nice town! I rode through on my way to Copper Harbor a couple years ago. And what the hell is that ore loader thingy in the water? You sure can't miss it! Only thing was, I was on my Connie and turned around quite a few times when the pavement ended. That will not be the case now!

I'm planning a UP ride this summer with a buddy who is on a Kawi Vulcan 900 - hoping to ride county road H58 going northeast of Munising. Ever hear of it? http://www.motorcycleroads.com/75/895/Routes/UPs-Northen-Coast-Tour-on-County-Rd.-H58.html

H58 used to be unpaved and really ruff. Over the years it was improved and graded and finally about 4 years ago paved thru the Pictured Rocks National Park. One of the best roads in the U.P. It's 200 miles round trip from Marquette to Grand Marais. If you are coming from the east, go north thru Newberry and then the dirt road along Lake Superior into Grand Marais and then H58 to Munising.
