Hi all, just joined today. I'm located in Sweden. Bought an ex-demo 2010 ST in the beginning of October and managed to put 2600km on it before the season came to a close. My previous bike was a Suzuki DL650. Really enjoying the step up to the Tenere.

Hey RMac, welcome and glad to have you! The winter has shut us down here as well in PA for the most part, although it's still rideable with the right gear and a little motivation.

Anyways, we can all weather the winter blues together I guess!

Welcome RMac. It looks like it may be a long winter for you as well. Just like us here in the USA!!! I don't know what would be worse, winter w no bike waiting for it to arrive, or winter with the bike parked 3 steps out in the garage not available to ride it? Hmm!!!

Conditions in the Stockholm area were rideable during part of the day up until 2 weeks ago, but I didn't want to get the road salt all over my new baby, so I stopped earlier. Now we have snow and temps dropping below -10C over the coming days..

I console myself with the fact that I got all of October under my belt.

Look forward to seeing this forum develop over the coming months.

I am waiting for the Midnight Black to be released in the UK which is not until 2011, by the end of December or early January we should also have the confirmed prices, on top of that my local dealer are going to try and look after me with the price. Bottom line is no date at the moment, not a major issue as weather is to cold for me anyway, although it would still look awesome sitting in the garage.

6 weeks from now I should have a much better pictures of time scales.

I too have chosen the Raven!!! I think I am going to make those Yamaha Block decals for the front cowl in red with white outlines.

Yeah that should look great, Black and Red has always been a good combination, that will be more pictures to post up. On the subject of pictures the new Media and mass upload tool works great. I set up my personal album again, just need to get a few more people using it. Super Ten's and whatever else people have got.

Welcome to the list! I have never been to your country but my wife has. I have heard about what a beautiful place it is and I hope to see it for myself one day.

I lived in Texas for seven years before moving back to Sweden. That's where I bought my DL650. Many fond memories of the U.S. and the "fun" I had to getting my "little piece of Texas" approved in Sweden when I shipped it here. I miss the all-year-round season that the southern US provides...

We live in central Ohio and our season is mid-March until they start salting the roads. The club we belong toad their national rally in Kerrville, TX a couple of years ago. I really enjoyed seeing that part ofnthe US. It is another place I hope to visits again someday.
