Hello. 31 yo male here. Been riding since I was 12. Have had my super ten for a couple years now. Had an r1 before that. Have a tw200 I've had since I was 15. Ride to work on my bike a lot. Want to do some motorcycle camping in the future. Girl friend just got her endorsement too so looking for a bike for her.

Welcome from Texas. I used to live in Lincoln Park in the early '70s, and Temperance in the mid-'70s. My wife has a TW also. That's where I'd have your girl friend start. It'll do everything except a lot of time on a highway.

Thank you!! She is riding the TW actually. Looking for something she can tour on though (down the road). I'll have to get her on some dirt soon. I grew up in Manistee but live in sterling Heights now. So not too far from Lincoln Park. Hoping for some good fall riding weather, was a hot summer

I'm a diehard Yamafan, but there's a lot of guys here that have had the Suzuki V-Strom, and loved them. The 650 could probably get the job done.
