Hi everyone,
I have recently put a deposit down on a 2013 XT1200Z Super Tenere with 12K on the clock,
I understand its had an easy life and hope to enjoy some of the country roads around me in Scotland over the summer (NC500, Loch Lomond, Argyllshire, Cairngorm National Park, etc) in what I understand is an underrated bike,
The forum's already been helpful in asking all of the right questions before I buy as well as things on the to-do-list when the bike arrives shortly. 1st up is the ECU flash to make the bike all it should have been!
Looking forward from learning loads from this group.

Welcome, from Texas. The bike looks spotless. I recommend riding it a while before spending the money on a flash. I love the way she is, as is.

Hello Craig and welcome. That bike looks stunning, one of the nicest colours they did it in for us in the uk. Where abouts are you in Scotland? The wife and I get up there every summer for at least two weeks and often another visit to friends in Lochgilphead and FtBill and nearly always have the bike with us.

Stayed in Lochgair for a week, great riding and less busy. Argyll is off the radar Scotland wise but well worth a visit. Enjoy your new ride.
