Hello from South Texas! Just purchased a 2013 S10 with about 29,000 miles. Hoping to get many more years of riding out of this bike!

Would love any opinions on necessary/helpful upgrades (e.g. fuel management, exhaust, windscreens, seats, outdoor covers, etc.) that would make the riding experience even more enjoyable!

Welcome!
Your bike is just getting broken in. Plenty of miles left in it.

Start with a seat mod (search it on here). Really easy and maybe all you need. I've got a Sargent and a Russell Day Long, and I prefer the RDL for anything more than a couple of hours, but everyone's butt is different.

As for the rest, how tall are you and how do you plan to ride it? All on road, some dirt, heavy offroad? This will help us with suggestions.

I am 6' 220lbs with 32" inseam (I have a long torso). Will most likely be riding on roads and hard pack sand. I live really close to the beaches but know that the salt air/water is death to all thinks metal and mechanical. Bike will be garaged and I will not be riding on the beaches unless I have to. Would love to find a good outdoor cover that hold up well to the crazy wind we have down here almost year round. Hope to get out to Big Bend in west Texas and possibly explore some of the national parks if the bike suits me.
