The LA is for Louisiana not Los Angeles. Hello my name is Jason and I'm outside of New Orleans in Jefferson Parish. I have a 2012 S10 and have enjoyed the bike ever since getting it. It gives me a different ride from my Road Star. Have been following the site for awhile now and have gotten lots of good in-site and info on these bikes from here. Wanted to stop being a troll and introduce myself to the group.
When I bought the S10 I was looking at a FZ-09 at the time when I realized that the bike was too small for me. My bike was a left over model at a very good price. Made the purchase and haven't regretted it one bit. Main riding is done on pavement so there are very few guard mods done to the bike.
Mods: V-stream Windscreen, Yamaha Side Deflectors, Givi Monokey rack & 42L black top case, Pyramid side cover, Touratech large side stand foot & 20mm risers, Cyclops LED headlight bulbs, Keiko throttle lock and Arrow headers (not on bike yet)
A little about me. Age 51, married for over 21 years to a very wonderful and understanding woman. No kids (it just didn't happen) but a bevy of animals ( 2 dogs, 3 cats (inside) 4 cats outside & 1 peahen (female peacock). I currently work in the shipbuilding industry after being away from it for a few years.
