How do you find the seat? From what I hear it will be similar to the 900, more on the narrow side. I prefer a larger seat like on a cruiser so this has made me nervous about the new 1200.
The seat isn't bad, maybe a little narrow, which goes with the bike "style". I would say as good, or a little better than most stock seats in comfort. If you want a wider seat, I would just send it to someone to modify it, shouldn't be that difficult. I don't know if the GT seat is the same but if not, maybe it is geared more for cruising. I would think if they are different, they should be interchangeable.

Those are some good looking Tigers. I hope they are as good as they look.

Although I'm also no fan of chain drive, at this point I'm not interested in going back to shaft if it meant giving up massive responsiveness. Its an addiction that has me completely hooked. I could see going for more than my current 160hp, but not less.

Give me a shift drive that will wheelie at 70 mph in 4th gear and I'll listen. Any thing less does not interest me. Those Tigers are pretty though.

I currently have 24K miles on my Tiger. I was a bit apprehensive going to chain from the shaft, but so far, I have only had to adjust the chain twice, and even those were still in, just on the edge, and since I was measuring, I adjusted it. I usually hit the chain with a spray lube from Walmart at the end of a ride, and clean it when it looks pretty bad. 5-10 minutes. Figure I should get about 30K miles out of the chain, maybe more.

The Tiger does get a lot comments on its looks.
