i have been checking this site out for the last few weeks without joining and i recently joined.

after seeing a Super Tenere and comparing it to many other bikes at one place i truly feel that the s10 is the "right" bike for me.

i have been riding for two years now (licensed for the same amount of time), and i have much to learn. i started off on a Yamaha fz6 and rode that for a season. last year i bought a brand new 2009 Triumph Daytona. after coming to many realizations i have decided that i want a motorcycle that is quite like my Toyota 4Runner (goes everywhere i may wish within extents and is reliable). having the Daytona has been great, but i know that i will have a better time being able to go almost everywhere i wish on this new bike.

basically i believe that the Yamaha Super Tenere will be my daily bike for many years. now i just have to find the gear for riding in all weather types...

Welcome on, korie. How long have you had the Tenere? You'll find a lot of info here, so feel free to ask. Do you live anywhere near Micatech panniers ??? Anyway, ::004:: to the Forum. R ::022::

i called a place today, and it looks like we will be ordering it next week or so. i am selling my Daytona and using that as the deposit. i am VERY excited about this. i have started to search for panniers, fog lights, crash bars, and of course more. i am thinking about a slip-on and re-flash, but first i would like to get the bike and go from there with performance mods.

Hey Korie, Welcome. ::004::

And sure hope your plans come together to obtain the 2Runner, aka Super Tenere. :)

I'm in Woosta and ride in New Hampsha all the time, we should try and get together. I know of at least 2 other Super Tens around, one in NH another in MA.

I Love the bike, it's the perfect evolution for me, feature/function/handling/fun-factor/reliability and price... Sounds like it could really fill the bill for you too. ::022::

Cheers, dean ::001::

well- i received GREAT news this morning! i will be getting the blue 2Runner (Yamaha Super Tenere- love that analogy) from a dealership that i was at the other day. i left a deposit, and i now have to find a buyer for my 2009 Triumph Daytona and i will be all set. the Daytona is my deposit on the Tenere, but worst case scenario i can do the trade-in route.

Riding- we will definitely have to get out and about through NH and MA. i work in Seabrook and live in Hampton. i am getting the bike from Concord though.
