Hi, I'm Dave. Just got my 2016 ES yesterday. I had a 2014 Vstrom 1000 for a few years, that was a great bike but I could just never get the fit quite right and after battling neck and back pain, and buffeting problems I traded it in on the bike I wanted to begin with. I also traded my 2016 Fury in with the Vstrom. Managed to drop $150 in bike payment expenses and free up a BIG chunk of garage space, I will miss the Fury but I never rode it and the advantages to this outweigh the fun of having a bike that wasn't good for much but cruising to bike nights.
I am in the Austin area, technically Round Rock but that's still basically Austin anyway.
So yeah..
