End of a motorcycle chapter for me. I got an offer I didn't want to refuse and traded the tenere for my dream bike kawasaki zrx 1200. It was quite bittersweet as me and tenere had quite the adventures together from an iron butt to a broken leg. I'm not sure if/when I'd come back to owning another super ten, but it have to be a gen 2 in blue! Or perhaps the unicorn gen 3 that is rumored every year to make an appearance.

Unfortunately, here on MN our riding season is all but over. I was lucky to get to jaunts in November of all months on the new bike. Put on around 250 miles. The previous owner is around the same height and weight as me and set it all up for our measurements.

Can't take the tenere habits out of me yet, took it down a scenic gravel road I had never been down before. It's no tenere, but it'll do in a pinch. It's also no tenere on the streets and the giggle factor is quite high.

Being that I traded it at a dealership, I did take the extra long way and managed to have a nice goodbye tour on the tenere as evidenced by my last posting in the moto tag thread.

I see KTMs are allowed there, what about green machines?

Excited for the next adventures. Instead of seeing ya'll at the trails, I'll be more at the trail heads.

Your GPz is the Kawi version of the FJ12, or actually the XJR. Just a basic motor with 2 wheels and a lot of grunt. Can't knock you for wanting one, I still have my FJ. Now, if that matching Smart car is yours . . . . you're dead to me. :D

Snert,

Ride it to Romney in May! Since it will be Cinco de Mayo, I'll bring some good tequila and you can bring some more cheese curds.
