Sooooo, I started installing my OEM heated grips yesterday and things went fine until I got to the throttle side, putting the housing back together was a pain in the ass. I put a heavy coat of moly 60 on the cable , managed to get it every where during assembly. THe throttle feels a bit odd, it works and theres no binding but it doesnt feel quite right. SHould I pack the housing full of moly grease? Couldn't quite figure out the cable in the lower part of the housing. RIght off of the throttle grip.

Then there is the cable routing, the instructions didnt seem real clear to me. I didnt see a clear way across the handle bars and down into the right side. And with the mass of cable under the right side cover I wanted something more detailed.

If anybody has some picture of a good routing I would appreciate it.

Thanks
Ed

I just did it today, and I put no lube at all in the throttle housing. The cables seem like they are covered with a slippery coating, and the stock throttle grip had no lube on it when I took it apart in the first place. I am sure others will chime in. Did you route the wires inside the housing correctly?
