I suspect its a simple (big) rivet.. so no... once the end is off then you will have to "glue" it back in on that one side... Not really a big deal...

But call Yamaha corp. since thats how a got that extra hard case to begin with to see if they will hook you up with a new one since there is no parts break down for the OEM hardcases. ::002::
