Ok, so I need some help here. My version of autocad does not work with windows 7. (pretty old version)
I work in a factory that makes memory foam, and have access to a CNC saw that we use to make pillows.
I want to make some memory foam bike pillows to take to the Colorado gathering. I've already made some sportbike pillows, but no longer have access to autocad at work. :(
I'm having a problem making a DXF file of the sillouette of a Tenere, with bags, and a rider.
If someone, has access to autocad, and can import, convert, or create this simple sillouette for me, I can then clean it up, and convert it to the file I need for my CNC saw.
PM me if you can help me, I would like to try getting this done by the end of April, so I can have them ready for the gathering...

Thanks In advance,

Bart

Buelligan,

Download a program called Draft Sight. It is free and works exactly like AutoCAD. I've been using it for the past couple of years. It'll open an array of files too.

Hope this helps, Dave.

Perfect, Fast, Free....pick two.

Send me your email and I can send you the DXF or DWG file. The tank and windsreen are splines, they cut super slow on most waterjets, if you can convert to an arc that will speed up your cycle times considerbly. The fork lowers are going to be weak.

my email is gbergma1@hotmail.com

Advd, Thanks, I will search for, and download that program.

Gbergma1, PM sent with email.
Yes, it will be flimsy with the front wheel just being supported by the forks. I would come forward from the skid plate to the front tire, closing in that space so it is stronger. No need for that much detail for just a pillow...
I will try to dig up one of the sportbikes I made and post up a picture. Not much detail, just a basic outline.
