It's nearly Superbowl time and my personal preparations are going well for the 23:30 kick off time in the UK. I've gotten some extra sleep in (right through Arsenal's 5-0 thrashing of Aston Villa), I've just made a screaming hot chilli (Naga's, gotta love em) and the fridge is full of Peroni lager ! Flexi time booked in at work tomorrow - bring it on !

Anyone else got their game on ?

I was going to watch the game by myself (Patriots fan since 1975!), but my friend who is a (now bitter) Packers fan wants to come watch the game with me. I told him I'd allow it, but that he's not allowed to root for the Seahawks -- at least not out loud he's not. Otherwise, I will show him the door. He's kind of hellish to watch the game with when his Packers are playing. My house, my rules! ::009:: I know, it doesn't make sense for him to root for the Seahawks, but he says he has to root for the NFC team. Whatever.

I am stocked with Guinness Extra Stout and Red Hook ESB, but am saving my last Ayinger Celebrator Double Bock for the fourth quarter, in case my Pats win.

Not snowed in here, obviously. In fact, sunshine and 73F!
Still, don't have cable, satellite, or even internet. Lol
Do have free Ota TV. And cellular LTE.
So it's likely the kids will make me sit and participate.
Im a football FANATIC. High School & College though. Love the defense game. So admittedly, drawn to the green team if I do watch.

We're blessed in San Diego with a ridiculous number of local microbrews, some of which are truly awesome. Try Speedway Stout from Alesmith if you ever come across it. Green Flash is another top notch brewer (Le Freak is my favorite from them). I usually host NFL games, including today, and it's just as much about the beer as the football. I'm always kind of relieved after the Super Bowl because I know my liver will get a break! At least until the NHL playoffs start!! ::003::

My football season ended about 4 weeks ago when the Steelers ended their season. Oh well, they got farther than I thought they would. I basically only watch football if the Steelers are on. Otheriwise I've lost all interest.

I always root for the AFC team in the Super Bowl. Made it very hard a couple of years ago when the Ravens finally made another trip to the bowl. Impossible to root for them. I guess I wanted a tie that year. It was a hard one for me.

Fortunately I have last night's supercross race all set to go to get me through halftime.

Got the crock pot chili going this morning then went off to shoot for a bit. Got back hungry and the house smell was too much. I am now contentedly full. Couldn't wait. Chopped up fresh jalapenos FTW!

You were supposed to be watching SuperCross! Lol

Yes, possibly. The Offensive coordinator won't sleep well for many years. It will define him forever. I don't wish that on anybody.

Seattle is numb ... let alone the whole Pacific Northwest. That's sports. Time for a little riding therapy.

As a neutral that was a cracking Superbowl, although if I was a fan of either team I would have been a bundle of nerves ! When you have one of the best running backs in the game and you're a yard out and you throw the ball... Incredible, victory in your grasp and they blew it. It's a long time to dwell on the mind 'till the next game too. Fair play to the Pat's, they put points on the board and deserved the victory in the end.

I noticed talk in the media that Seattle may struggle to hold on to Lynch, it would have been easier with another Superbowl ring on his finger.... Roll on next year ::008::

I quit following NFL years ago. Was a Oakland and AFC fan from the early 70's. Just got old. Started liking players instead of teams.

That has to be the best Super Bowl game I have ever watched. The last 18 seconds was the only was and that was still good.

Brady beat and tied some of Joe Montana's Super Bowl records. I like them both so no big.

Good Super Bowl Game NFL. You will be closer next year for the 50th in California's Bay Area. Heard all the nearby, San Jose, hotels have already been sold out.

That was only my halftime plan. My daughter was watching the game with us. She voted Katie Perry, so we watched the real halftime show. Better than expected. Actually, it was a great night. The game was about as entertaining as football could ever be, the halftime show was well done, and I was a sucker for all the dad commercials. Throw in a few adult beverages and it was an enjoyable evening.

What a roller coaster game....I had Turrets syndrome most of the game. Its a good thing my wife wasn't video taping me on the interception or it would have made Youtube cus I went ballistic,,,I just couldn't beleive it!

I new it would be fight, of course I'm glad at the out come. That was a horrible play call but that's football....you can be a hero or zero on one play.

I must say the best part is not having to listen to Richard Sherman....

Ok...Sorry Seattle Fans....game well played but...

HEY SHERMAN HOW MANY SUPER BOWL RINGS DO THE PATRIOTS HAVE? :D ::025::
