Howdy
Well it finally arrived. I ordered it when they first became “available” in Feb. but had to go through two delays. Well worth the wait.
•All mounting hardware lined up. Had to rotate my bars back just a hair so the hand gaurds would clear the shield. Probably more of a dealer prep thing.
•I replaced my Cal Sci Large. I got the Sport/Tour V-Stream. Though not as tall as the Cal Sci it came very close to providing the same amount of still air space vertically. The V-Stream is much wider at the top which increased the still air space horizontially. This is being measured seat of the pants sticking my hand up or out trying to gauge the pocket. Overall a much larger pocket of comfort behind the shield.
•I mention this because I saw someone ask the question about another shield. Yes, you can see the reflection of the running light in the shield just above the mounting brackets. Though when I had my turn signal on today I noticed the left light reflects on the right side of the fairing and visa versa.
•No distortion until you get near the “V”.
•Overall very happy with the product. I have it in the high position now and just look over it. I’m 5’ 10”. Moving it to the lower position should give me plenty of air on those hot days.
•I bought extra well nuts and the Cal Sci knobs so changing the height of the shield is pretty quick and easy.
