Hey guys. I recently replaced my Puig windshield with a National Cycle V-Stream Sport touring shield. The new shield is definitely an improvement. Wind noise and buffeting is minimal. I am 5'10" and have the seat in the low setting. The light tint is much better than the Puig dark tint. I actually think the V-Stream looks better on the bike. Installation was elementary. I am very happy with it's performance. Shield was purchased from Revzilla for about $145.

Just replaced my Yamaha touring screen with the same. Extremely happy with it! Pretty upset I waited so long to swap out. I'm running the screen lower than my other and with much better aerodynamics and no buffeting.

I just took the plunge. Revzillad it. I've been happy with the stock screen and my madstad. That V stream looks legit though and i've become real fond of helmets with visors. Hope i'm as happy as you guys!

Hello,
Pick up an extra set of rubber mounting bushings and the Cal Sci windshield mounting screws with knob handles and you can do very quick height adjustments on the road without tools depending on the weather.

hhhhmmmmmm, anyone want to buy a yam. tall wind screen?
I thought that the trend was to go shorter? I put the original screen back on. I also noticed that it is way better if I just stand up, even with a cross wind.

Yeah, I have an extra set of mount bushings in the mail. Relocating the bushings every time you raise or lower the screen is too much hassle for me. I may also end up with the V-stream from all of the positive reviews I'm reading.

Howdy,
Don't forget the Cal Sci knobs!

I use 6 of the CalSci knobs. When the off-road gets really bumpy, the barn door shield really tests those wellnuts. Big Bend snapped 3 of them off before I could stop and address it.
