Come on, you know you want to!!! Get that Super Tenere off the street and join me for a dual sport ride.
What - 150 or so miles of combined street and beginner level off road riding. NO KNOBBIES REQUIRED/NEEDED.
When - March 31, 2012. We meet for breakfast at Early Toast in Folsom, CA at 830 AM. If you are not doing breakfast with us then it is clutch out at 1000 AM from the Early Toast parking lot. You are missing out on some good food though!
If it rains, the ride will be canceled and have a rain date of April 14. Also, I will pre-ride the route a few days prior and advise of any concerns that may arise if we have some inclement weather within a week of the ride.
There is a Starbuck's and a gas station and a bagel shop, etc. all in the parking lot as it is the Raley's shopping center at the corner of Blue Ravine and E. Natoma.
I have a GPS file of the route if anyone would like it. Just PM me and I will forward it to you via email. Don't forget to include your email in the PM.
Folsom, Weber Creek, Coloma, Mount Murphy, Green Valley, Wentworth Springs, Bottle Hill Road, Yankee Jims, Ponderosa Way, Salmon Falls.......all a part of the route.
Have a full tank, a fun attitude, and a clear understanding that we are out to have fun, enjoy our bikes in the element for which they were designed, and we are in no rush!
We will have an extended stop in Georgetown for food, drink, bathrooms and then press on to finish out the ride.
The ride will complete right where we started from in the Raley's Shopping Center parking lot in Folsom.
I hope to see you there!!!
