Picked up the Super Tenere today. Had to go rent a car drop it off and get back to the shop. The Avis place is right up the street from the shop so no big deal. I need some lunch so sales man told me to hit up the Elks Lodge for some top notch BBQ while they preped the bike. Which I did before dropping off the car. Excellent Tri Tip sandwich.

Here is the first pic of the proud new owner and his Super T

From the shop I rode to Ventura to show off the bike to a buddy. Took all the back roads and made it to his place. Man what a comfortable bike. Smooth power and nice shelter from the wind. So far I am loving it.

We had a nice dinner at Lure in Ventura great resturant for seafood. Then headed back home to Valencia via Hwy 126 and a couple of back roads after dark. I am happy with the stock lighting pretty good. Made it back home in one piece after 105 miles. What a great day.

Here is shot of the new bike meeting his brothers for the first time. They will get along just fine.
