Finally today I hit 3,500 miles on my Super Tenere. It feels better and better every time that I take it out for a ride. So awesome.
The motorcycle is beyond phenomenal, and meets each and every one of my needs, and then some. It takes THOUSANDS of miles to "get" this motorcycle, in my opinion. First demo ride, I was so so on it, and then each subsequent opportunity to ride it, I liked it more and more. Now I love it.

My life lately...

You only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go
Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home

Staring at the ceiling in the dark
Same ol empty feeling in your heart
Cuz life comes slow and it goes so fast

... But even with the above, the Super Tenere removes me from my problems as soon as I take a seat!! ::012::

I've only racked up about 8000 kms since I got it in April because there were too many commitments getting in the way. But every ride I had, I would find myself with a permanent grin and telling myself I will take just one more road before heading home.

I was out today in 5 degree weather with 40km/h winds from the north and just loving every minute of the ride. The fall has a way of making you appreciate every last second of the ride because you know winter's coming!!

Savour every minute out there!! Soon the snow will have me researching, planning and dreaming of all the adventures awaiting me in the spring.

I haven't put it away yet and miss it already!

I have a few more miles than you newbies [90,000 miles] but I still get the same feeling every time I get on it. This bike has to be the most awesome bike ever!
This morning we have to visit a church 50 miles away, My pretty wife will be driving herself, I wouldn't get in a car when I can ride for anything. She won't get on the bike at 37*F out there with a dress on.

::026:: ::026:: I am just down the road from you in London. Winter is an inconvenient pause between riding seasons. I would be happy to never see another flake of snow for the rest of my life.

I have to admit I have been a Bastard lately as my ride is still in the shop waiting on my 17" Wood rear wheel.
Should be in this week Valve than adjustment CTC installed flush out the coolant and replace..
Should be done Friday if all go's well, I have been missing some great riding weather last two weeks.. :'(

Agree 100%, my 2010 was great and never let me down in 47 000 km of hard work, my 2014 stands on 7000 km and I still have a big smile,

The Gen 1 S10 and 2014 S10 may look the same but they are totaly diferent, both are great.

::026:: My wife and I are just back this morning from a 700 mile, 3 day ride. I have more than 40K Tenere mile so far and it just keeps putting a smile on my face. The Tenere is a phenomenal bike that is deeply satisfying.

Woohoo! Another praise thread ::012::

My wife and I had a lovely camping weekend - 435 miles total with over 100 in the dirt. The defining moment was covering ground that I covered 2 years ago on my WR250R. At the time, I kept asking myself - would I take the Tenere here? The answer was no. So here we are covering that ground, 2-up with our camping gear, a few washed out sections and too many sandy patches, but we made it with confidence and no falls on Trail Attack IIs.

Me thinks the limiting factor is not the bike. The Super Ténéré continues to impress. And the Renos are still my heros!

The Super Tenere is the world's best 2-up dirt bike ::022::

My Mrs never did more that 180 miles on prior outings on previous bikes. Last weekend she did 400 on the back on this steed n enjoyed it. Awesome bike for lots of reasons in my book... N quietly my Mrs reckons so too. ::008::
