Thought I'd share a few pics of my other toy. I used to restore these in my spare time...when I had spare time. I originally bought this one as a parts bike.

Fun bikes! I bought an R5 350 when I was 14, put an expansion chamber on it. Gave the Honda 750's hell for about 1/4 mile, kept the bike till my senior year in high school. It'd be neat to find another one. Thanks for sharing!

if my memory serves me right, I think they were a very quick bike weren't they? My boss had one when I was a apprentice he said I could have it if I got it going, spent many nights in the workshop but it never happened, maybe that was a good thing ::26::

I had a 250LC which was in fantastic condition at the time, sold it for £280, I reckon if I wrapped it up and hid it away it would probably be worth at least 20 times that now, probably outstripping most shares over that time.

Many of my mates also had LC's, 250's / 350's and YPVS, the aircooled ones were already a bit rare over here even in the late 80's, really fancied a aircooled 400 as these were considered a classic over 25 years ago.

I can detect an LC coming from miles away weven now, they just have a certain sound (and smell) I adore.
