I had a 250LC which was in fantastic condition at the time, sold it for £280, I reckon if I wrapped it up and hid it away it would probably be worth at least 20 times that now, probably outstripping most shares over that time.
Many of my mates also had LC's, 250's / 350's and YPVS, the aircooled ones were already a bit rare over here even in the late 80's, really fancied a aircooled 400 as these were considered a classic over 25 years ago.
I can detect an LC coming from miles away weven now, they just have a certain sound (and smell) I adore.
