There is a guy on the 800 site who has developed his own diagnostic software for it. I don't know if it works on the 1200 but may be worth checking out. He is a Top Guy i have riden with him many times he also had the Explorer.

I will certainly update this thread as I accumulate more miles. I've had it just over 2 weeks and have ridden it every day. After 13 months off bikes, I'm really thankful to be riding again! Today I took a nice ride up towards the Canadian border. My longest ride yet! Here are some pics...

I will say that I am really liking this bike! It is taking me some time to get all the electronics figured out, as it has a LOT of electronics and I'm not very tech savvy. Never had an electronic suspension before, let alone 5 different ride modes. It has a TFT dash, hill hold control, Shift assist, and frankly I don't know what else! Reading the manual and learning as much as I can. It needs new tires, but it still handles and feels better under way than any of my other 3 ADV bikes did. More to come...
