My headlights keep burning out after only a couple thousand miles. What up with that?

I've had the NovSights for a while too, and at the cost of Sylvanias the NovSights work better, for less money, and have lasted longer.
[Dang - Just jinxed myself.]

Osram off-road bulbs. They're usually much brighter and seem to be very durable.

I had a H-4 halogen that was for "off road use only". Two reasons: they claimed that the filaments were heavy-duty, and it was a 55w/100w low/high beam. It was in my FJ, with an actual glass lens, and a good reflector. . . . worked wonderful. I never got in trouble because, duh, don't drive around with the high beam on.
