"They all do that sir, why don't you take the new model for a spin and I will have a coffee and new finance agreement waiting for you on your return."

I have always had the crazy notion that one of the reasons we ride instead of drive is that bikes are more involving! And they definitely need more care and attention than do new cars and trucks. ::019::

Has anyone figured out the tightening interval the clutch pivot bolt? Is it 6k miles or 4k miles?
If it's the clutch lever pivot bolt you are referring to, then I would just be inclined to check it every couple thousand miles, all depends on the type of terrain you ride on will have an effect to the nuts and bolts in general to work loose quicker or slower. I never had one on mine when I took delivery of it, I just installed a locking nut and it has not moved since, that was almost a year ago.
But in the service manual, it refers to checking the clutch lever pivot shaft every 4k miles, I would assume you would check the nut as well ??

I put a little blue (removable) Locktite on it and haven't had a problem.
