Re: Premature Motojaculation?

I'm not sure if I understand the aura around MV Agusta. I guess it's like owning a Ferrari, which I don't really feel to urge to do either. With that said, if somebody happened to walk up to me and say, "how would you like a free MV Agusta?" My response would be, "Make it a Brutale, please." ::26::

Re: Premature Motojaculation?

personally, I would rather rock a vintage bike of some sort with a suicide shifter. The MV/Desmo of the world are just too wicked to have fun on the road...and i don't have the dime to take them on the track. rode a friends 1098r down in SWFL...got pulled for doing 90 in a 35.....it wasnt my fault...the bike was arguing that it wanted to go faster ::021::

Thank would be my choice as well. For sure it would not be my daily rider though.

While I do agree the Brutale is cool, especially in the America edition kit (almost bought one last summer), if asked if I would like a free one - I would have to have the F4CC! I think that would be my ultimate dream bike, just to sit and stare at it, it is such a piece of art I don't even think I could bring myself to even ride the thing.

Ferracci in Willow Grove (PA) had one on the shop floor for awhile but it was sold I believe, probably sitting in some McMansion now!

I will soon be the proud owner of one of these...

Well... unless one of the other 1097 ticket holders gets it first! There was a raffle going on at the DC IMS for this bike, $50 a ticket... I reckon this is the best looking of all the 1098's, and it's an R version, and it's Troy's bike, and it's got an Aussie flag on it and I'm an Aussie... how could I not buy a ticket? They are only selling 1098 of them...

This bike was a limited edition, only 500 made and 150 came to the US.

If you want a ticket I think they might still have some;

That is a nice bike, but isn't it a bit odd to be raffling off a 2009 model bike?

Yes, the new Duc is crazy, but I am not sure I like the new integrated frame design. To me, a Duc needs to have that bright red ladder bar frame.

It's a collectible - so year doesn't matter in the same way as a regular production run.
