I don't always listen to music when riding, especially not when I'm using the intercom function of my Sena or when I'm riding to enjoy why I'm doing what I'm doing. I'm a million miles from everywhere, so tunes keep the my "slab sanity" intact before I arrive to my destination.

I'll start with a couple:

Stone Temple Pilots - Down (Video)

Stone Temple Pilots - Plush (Video)

I typically have my Zumo 660 streaming music to my Scala Ride G9. Here is a video with a couple of my favorites that go well while cruising some of the beautiful Missouri Ozarks. Marshall Tucker Band with "24 Hours at a Time" and then Dire Straits with "Skateaway".

I used to know how to insert the video directly, but it doesn't seem to be working like I thought it should. In any case, the URL is above.

I've tried to listen to music when riding, but for some reason it makes me anxious. That said, I often find myself singing Black Sabbath, Heaven and Hell inside the helmet. Yea, yea, yea...

Fred, drop the "s" from https, and the videos should embed.

I running close to 16GB on my iPhone streaming to my Sena. I have music playing more often than not, and it's a compilation of favorites (Rush, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree), alternative (Muse, The. Black Keys, etc) and songs that catch my ear...I've been big into music and car audio since I was a teenager. I even worked as a mobile DJ for a while back then...

Thanks a lot for that tip. It worked! Interesting that when I have posted videos on another forum, I was able to just right click on the video, save the URL and paste it into the post. Evidently when I tried that here, the extra s messed me up. I appreciate the help.

I listen to a podcast while riding:

Hardwell On Air

It's about an hour long and a new one comes out every week. It's sooooo good!

I have about 250 songs shuffling. Anything Mark Knopfler is good. Plenty of others for variety.

::026:: on Mark Knopfler, one of the greatest guitar players in the world, with an excellent voice to boot! I also have a huge variety of music on shuffle as well, a very eclectic collection, rock, country, folk, folk-rock, etc. My favourite artist overall is Leonard Cohen, but I love and listen to a lot musical styles. ::008::

Excellent choice! Joe Bonamassa is the best guitarist that nobody's ever heard of. While on the road, I prefer the music of a big bore parallel twin through a Ti/carbon Akrapovic can.
