In may 2023 I sold my Suzuki V-Strom after fifteen years of loyal and problem-free service and bought a 2017 (European model 2018) Yamaha XT 1200 ZE. And I love her. She's black, has a beautiful raspy voice from her after market exhaust and has the new problem-free Yamaha panniers. What I always wanted, but never did with the V-Strom, is go camping on my bike. So I started last summer. A small part is already documented on https://www.youtube.com/@clemensbas. Hope to make many more trips and video's. I stumbled on this forum looking for information on a ECU flash. Because as great as she is, she can be a bit slow and abrupt in her throttle response and the acceleration in the lower gears is not as evenly distributed as one would think possible. So I'm reading up on that now.
