Well that was brilliant. I've just done the British round of the MotoGP. It was absolutely awsome ... that really is some track. I was routing for Nicky, Ben and Colin.

There were ten's of thousands of bikes there .... did see three other Super Teneres (all blue). Anyone here?

I tell ya they really earned their money today. Wet as wet thing. Looked like they were piloting boats :) I got soaked going up and soaked going home. But it was great fun .... really liked it. That new/revised Silverstone circuit is truly awsome.

I haven't watched it yet, but looks like the Factory Yamaha Team did not do so well......too bad too since they looked pretty good in qualifying....

Having been born in Australia I am always happy when Casey brings it home but the thrill of the day was Colin Edwards finishing third with a broken collor bone and torn rib muscles. Injuries suffered only 9 days ago and he has the guts to stick out one nasty race and brings it home for Tech 3. A real racer that one

I too enjoy watching the MotoGP. It wold be good to root for only the American guys, but I have always rooted for the Repsol Team Honda, First with Hayden, the Pedrosa...man is he fast!!!
I have had the opportunity two years back to watch the INdy GP. Man, those bikes sound AWESOME!!!! Like big block chevys'!!!! The spitting and popping they do until high RPM is nuts!!! Oh, I enjoy watching SToner beat up on Lorenzo!!! Don't like the kid...good driver, just don't like him for some reason. Just great racing all around for me!!!! Oh, and World Superbike too!!!! I have to go downstairs and watch that after while when daughter is sleeping!!!!

Just got back from a little vaction with the family and watch the race. DVR baby!. I hope Spies is ok after the crash.
I finally watched it this morning (gotta love the BBC coverage...much better than Speed Channel); they said Ben checked out OK. I just wish they had caught his crash, I never did see what took him out.

How do you get the BBC coverage over here?

Another source than speed would be nice. Does anyone else notice how they skip about 25% of the laps for commercials? It always ticks me off. And the US commentator can't pronounce LorenZo properly. It is always LorenTHo!

Yes, and since they starting let that idiot blather on, they no longer have time for the post race interviews. I have written Speed about it, to no avail.

In the UK the best coverage is Sky. The dudes are insane about racing and very enthusiastic. Trouble is BBC bought the rights and so broadcast live whereas Sky are obliged to wait an hour. If I'm around I'll generally watch it twice back to back just for the hell of it ;D
