Model Numbers

I searched but cannot find any info regarding model numbers. While searching for parts, most sites like Partzilla or ShopYamaha wants a model number. They list 4 different numbers for the 2017 non ES. Can anyone explain the difference and how to know which my bike is?

The models with a C are California spec with charcoal canisters. After that, you have colors. Unless you are ordering a painted panel, the part numbers are the same. Pick one of the non C versions. You also might be able to do a VIN search on your VIN to find out what your model is. My '12 was BB, being a black bike and pre-dating the ES offering, so you only had California models, and blue or black to sort out.
