Folks, some buddies and I are planning to ride the Continental Divide route next June. I'm looking for feedback from anyone who has used the Mitas E07s or E10s on the CDR. Another possibility I am pondering is the Michelin Anakee Wild. Again, any reviews appreciated.

I haven't been on the CDR, but on other similar rides, the E-07's are great tires. A lot of people don't like the front though, but it's fine for me. TKC80 on the front maybe?

Until the mud gets to be gumbo or slick clay I've done fine on the front E07.

When the mud turns to gumbo we have a bigger issue with how close the front tire is to the fender, potentially locking up the tire.

Like Checkswrecks says when it rains the passes are a disaster from the dreaded red clay. I started from New Mexico with a set of TKC80s and had a slow speed get off in Wyoming in the clay. Ended up loosing 12 weeks of summer.

A number of people have raised the front fender. Do a search or contact Jaxxon at RideOnADV.
