Has anyone tried 140s on their ST. I believe they have the same load rating as the 150s, but no centre rib. Please confirm whether there is in fact no centre rib.
Thanks.

Since no one responded, I went ahead and rode down and looked at our dealer in Denver, Performance Cycle. Awesome dealer, by the way. The 140 and 150 are exactly the same on the center rib.

Then the sidewalls are the difference and that could make the 140 a very different tire. I am very happy with the Dakar though I haven't wore out a set yet.

Thanks Ron H, looking at pictures online left the mistaken impression that the 140 and 150 versions are different visa a visa the centre rib, I appreciate your effort in getting to bottom of this issue.

I from Ontario Canada and some buddies and I are planning a Continental Divide Ride next June, and we're looking to swap out to some aggressive tires, perhaps in Alberquerque. I am currently running E07s but they will pretty much done by the time we get down there. I am trying to decide if a fresh set of E07s will do the Divide nicely or if I would be better off with E10s.

Those E10's look pretty aggressive. I just bought some 07's but haven't put them on yet. The CDT is on my radar for next summer. Just started looking at maps. Have fun
