Hello,
a coming newbie here calling you.

FIrst I changed my Varadero to 800 GSA and after 5000 BMW-km I'm missing Vara so much that I have to jump S10. A "new" testmodel 2011 was left (after testdrives in year 2013) in local store with very reasonable price, with guarantee of new bike. Let's see how is that. The beemer was very handy every where else, exept long distance driving. With Vara was for example Ironbutt drive like kidd's stuff.

And the very first question about S10.... does the newer clutchbasket fit also to model 2011.

I believe the answer is yes. But in my opinion, a new or very low mileage bike doesn't benefit as much. ("as much")
It isn't like the unworn V1 basket was a bust. We All rode YEARS and K's of miles on our baskets before the revision was made and available.
On a 2011, I'd do the ECU flash way before I addressed the clutch buzz.

Welcome!

Thank's ,
that's the way to go. I suppose I'll wait the bigger trimming when the time of guarantee is over. Assuming the bike is as good as it has been told in these sites. I'm quite shure it is.....

Varadero, that's another one we don't have here in the states I guess. Welcome and enjoy your new bike.

Hi,
after 3200 km drive to Norway in five days ( from Finland) with S10 I'm pleased to say I don't miss Varadero any more. Marvelous bike, nothing to complain...exept too short holliday....

Cheers for JummiJammi
